Equipped with Constant Speed technology, which means the clipper will not slow down while cutting through matted and tangled fur. It features two speeds (3000 and 3800 strokes per minute), with the first speed suitable for most grooming tasks, and the second with increased RPM for working with difficult and demanding fur. The clipper blade can be attached in seconds, using the Snap-on (also known as Clip-On) attachment system - the most popular blade attachment system on the market. Included is the Andis CeramicEdge #10 blade of the latest generation with a ceramic cutting element, cutting length of 1.5 mm, and additionally four plastic attachment combs for cutting lengths of 3, 6, 9, and 12 mm.
Interesting fact: Carbon brushes used in traditional motors wear out after about 600-800 hours of operation. Brushless motors can operate for up to 8000 hours (10 times longer) than traditional brushed motors. They are also lighter, more environmentally friendly (do not emit carbon dust), and safer - powered by low voltage 24V, eliminating high voltage from the power cord and clipper. The clipper is compatible with Snap-On blades from brands: Andis, Oster, Moser, Wahl, Aesculap, Heiniger, Geib, Thrive.
