Equipped with Constant Speed technology, it means the clipper will not slow down while cutting through matted and tangled fur. It features two speeds (3000 and 3800 strokes per minute), with the first suitable for most grooming tasks, and the second with increased speed used for working with difficult and demanding fur. The clipper blade attaches in seconds, using the Snap-on (also known as Clip-On) system - the most popular blade attachment system on the market. Included is the Andis CeramicEdge No. 10 blade, the latest generation with a ceramic cutting insert, cutting length of 1.5 mm, plus four plastic attachment combs for cutting lengths of 3, 6, 9, and 12 mm.
Interesting fact: Carbon brushes used in traditional motors wear out after approximately 600-800 hours of operation. Brushless motors can operate for up to 8000 hours (10 times longer) than traditional brushed motors. They are also lighter, more environmentally friendly (do not emit carbon dust), and safer - powered by low voltage 24V, eliminating high voltage from the power cord and clipper.
