How to use: Unlock the clippers by sliding the lever located near the blade. Insert the tip of the nail between the blades. Cut from bottom to top, holding the clippers perpendicular to the nail. Avoid cutting the nails too short.
Tip: Do not cut the nails too short. Cutting into the live tissue of the nail causes pain and heavy bleeding. If the pet has light-colored nails, you can easily see the nail matrix forming a light pink line. Trim the tips of the nails at least 2mm away from the matrix line. For pets with dark nails, finding the matrix is not as easy. Trim the nail only slightly. Pay attention to the dark spot in the middle of the freshly cut nail - if you see it, the matrix starts just behind it. Do not cut more.
