Fypryst 134mg is a solution for combating fleas and ticks in dogs weighing between 10 to 20 kg. The product contains the active ingredient - fipronil, which has insecticidal and acaricidal properties, destroying parasites by blocking the transfer of chloride ions across cell membranes, leading to uncontrolled activity of the central nervous system and death of insects or mites. Fipronil accumulates in the fatty structure of the skin and hair follicles, from where it is gradually released onto the skin and fur, ensuring long-lasting effectiveness of the product. The package contains one pipette with a volume of 1.37ml of the preparation. Fypryst can be used as a preventive measure against insects or as part of the treatment for allergic flea dermatitis (AFD) in dogs. The ingredients of the product are effective against Ixodes spp. ticks, particularly Ixodes ricinus, which can transmit the dangerous Lyme disease to pets. The product controls the infestation of the Trichodectes canis lice. It is intended for external application on the skin by spot-on application. It shows effective action against fleas for 2 months and against ticks for 4 weeks (depending on the level of environmental pressure).

Dosage and administration:
Before use, carefully read the leaflet included in the package. Remove the single-dose pipette from the package. Holding the pipette vertically, twist and remove the tip. Turn the tip around and place the other end on the pipette. Press and twist the tip to pierce the seal, then remove it from the pipette. Part the fur on the animal's back between the shoulder blades so that the skin is visible. Place the end of the pipette against the skin and squeeze several times to dispense its contents directly onto the skin. Do not bathe the dog for 2 days after applying the drops and no more than once a week.
Tip: Monthly application of the product is recommended in cases of high risk of recurring flea infestations, if the dog is allergic to flea bites, and for necessary control of tick infestations or frequent bathing of the dog with hypoallergenic or conditioning shampoos. In areas where there is no serious threat of flea and tick infestations, the Fypryst spot-on solution can be administered every other or third month.
