Fypryst Aerosol for dogs and cats is an effective antiparasitic agent that provides protection against fleas and ticks. The product contains the active substance - fipronil, which acts as an insecticide and acaricide, destroying parasites by blocking the transfer of chloride ions through cell membranes, leading to uncontrolled activity of the central nervous system and death of insects or mites. Fipronil accumulates in the fatty structure of the skin and hair follicles, from where it is gradually released onto the surface of the skin and fur, ensuring long-lasting action of the product. Fypryst Aerosol can be used as a preventive measure against insects or as one of the steps in the treatment of allergic flea dermatitis (AFD) in cats and dogs. The ingredients of the product are effective against Ixodes spp. ticks, particularly Ixodes ricinus, which can transmit dangerous Lyme disease to pets. The product controls the invasion of chewing lice of the species Trichodectes canis in dogs and Felicola subrostratus in cats. Designed for external use as an aerosol with a mechanical pump. Safe for adult dogs and cats as well as puppies and kittens from the second day of life. The duration of action of Fypryst Fipronil Aerosol against fleas is 3 months for dogs and 2 months for cats (this period may vary depending on environmental factors). Against ticks, the aerosol is effective for one month. To fully moisten the coat, use 6-12 pumps of the bottle for each kilogram of the animal's body weight. The amount depends on the length of the pet's hair - the longer the hair, the more product should be used. Due to the lack of appropriate safety studies, the minimum interval between subsequent applications of the product should be 4 weeks. For optimal effectiveness, it is not recommended to bathe the animals 2 days before and after applying the product. Ingredients: 1ml of the preparation contains 2.5mg of fipronil.
