Fypryst 268mg is a solution for combating fleas and ticks in dogs weighing over 40kg. The product contains the active ingredient - fipronil, which has insecticidal and acaricidal properties, destroying parasites by blocking the transfer of chloride ions through cell membranes, leading to uncontrolled activity of the central nervous system and death of insects or mites. Fipronil accumulates in the fatty structure of the skin and hair follicles, from where it is gradually released onto the skin and fur, ensuring long-lasting effectiveness of the product. The package contains one pipette with a capacity of 4.02ml of the preparation. Fypryst can be used as part of a preventive measure against insects or as one of the steps in the treatment of allergic flea dermatitis (AFD) in dogs. The ingredients of the product show effectiveness against Ixodes spp. ticks, particularly Ixodes ricinus, which can transmit Lyme disease to pets. The product controls infestations of the Trichodectes canis lice species. Intended for external use on the skin by spot application. It demonstrates effective action against fleas for 2 months and against ticks for 4 weeks (depending on the level of environmental pressure).
