Description
Fypryst 50mg is a solution for combating fleas and ticks in cats. The product contains the active substance - fipronil, which acts as an insecticide and acaricide, destroying parasites by blocking the transfer of chloride ions through cell membranes, leading to uncontrolled activity of the central nervous system and death of insects or mites. Fipronil accumulates in the fatty structure of the skin and hair follicles, from where it is gradually released onto the surface of the skin and fur, ensuring long-lasting effectiveness of the product. The package contains one 0.5ml pipette of the preparation. Fypryst can be used as a preventive measure against insects or as one of the steps in the treatment of allergic flea dermatitis (AFD) in cats. The ingredients of the product are effective against fleas (Ctenocephalides felis) and ticks (Rhipicephalus spp., Dermacentor spp., Ixodes spp.), which can transmit dangerous Lyme disease to pets. The product controls the invasion of lice of the species Felicola subrostratus. Designed for external use on the skin by spot application. It exhibits effective action against fleas for 5 weeks and against ticks for 2 weeks (depending on the level of environmental pressure).

Contraindications:
- Do not use in kittens under 8 weeks of age or weighing less than 1kg.

- Do not use the product in rabbits due to the risk of adverse effects, including death.
Administration and dosage:
Before use, carefully read the leaflet included in the package. Remove the single-dose pipette from the packaging. Holding the pipette vertically, twist and remove the tip. Turn the tip around and place the other end on the pipette. Press and twist the tip to pierce the seal, then remove it from the pipette. Part the fur on the animal's back between the shoulder blades so that the skin is visible. Place the end of the pipette against the skin and squeeze several times to dispense its contents directly onto the skin. Do not bathe the cat for 2 days after applying the drops and no more than once a week.
