Description
Fypryst 67mg is a solution for combating fleas and ticks in dogs weighing between 2 to 10 kg. The product contains the active ingredient - fipronil, which acts as an insecticide and acaricide, destroying parasites by blocking the transfer of chloride ions through cell membranes, leading to uncontrolled activity of the central nervous system and death of insects or mites. Fipronil accumulates in the fatty structure of the skin and hair follicles, from where it is gradually released onto the skin and fur, ensuring long-lasting effectiveness of the product. The package contains one pipette with a volume of 0.67ml of the preparation. Fypryst can be used as a preventive measure against insects or as one of the steps in the treatment of allergic flea dermatitis (AFD) in dogs. The ingredients of the product are effective against Ixodes spp. ticks, particularly Ixodes ricinus, which can transmit dangerous Lyme disease to pets. The product controls the infestation of the Trichodectes canis lice. It is intended for external use on the skin by spot application. It demonstrates effective action against fleas for 2 months and against ticks for 4 weeks (depending on the level of environmental pressure).
