How to fit the Julius-K9 Mantrailing Harness:
To ensure the harness fulfills its functions and is comfortable for the dog, it is essential to choose the right size and adjust it accurately to the dog's body. Adjust the straps leading to the neck element so that the upper edge of the chest padding is at the height of the dog's shins, and the padding lies flat against the chest. In the section between the neck and the rear element, ensure that the ring is not behind the line of the dog's two hind legs. Move the rear element back far enough so that the rear straps of the chest padding do not cover the front legs. The straps should be tight enough for your hand to fit under the rear element, but do not allow them to be too loose, as this may cause the harness to shift sideways during work. In a standing position, the harness may seem too loose—the adjustable bridge element, neck element, and rear element may slide slightly—but this will resolve as soon as the dog starts to move and pulls forward. All straps and elements will then be in place.

Tip:
The JK9 Mantrailing harness is not suitable for casual wear, hiking, or running with the dog. It has been specifically designed for search work, where the dog always moves on a taut leash in front of its owner.
