KuoriPomppa is a lightweight, breathable rain jacket for dogs, designed for year-round use. It perfectly protects the most important body parts from wind, rain, and mud. It withstands not only light drizzles but also heavy downpours. It can be used as a standalone jacket on warmer days or as an additional waterproof outer layer over thermal insulation. Ideal for both daily walks and more active dog activities. Thanks to its unique design, it allows full freedom of movement for the dog, which is why it is highly valued and often used for various sports activities and training. The jacket is made from a three-layer, breathable, waterproof polyester, coated with a DWR hydrophobic layer that does not contain harmful fluorocarbons. The jacket covers the most important parts of the animal's body (back, neck, belly, and rear) and protects them from getting wet and cold. The back part extends to the lower back, while the bottom covers the chest and belly. The high, adjustable, roll-up collar protects the neck. The minimal number of seams reduces the risk of chafing and provides greater waterproofing (all seams in the back part of the jacket are taped to prevent leaking). The jacket features a waist closure to keep it in place. Since some dogs do not like having anything put on their legs, the adjustable straps at the back can be removed. The garment is easy to put on and take off. It is very lightweight and does not take up much space when folded. It can be easily taken on any adventures without adding weight to your luggage. Reflective elements ensure the dog's safety in poor lighting conditions. An opening at the collar allows for leash attachment. How to care for Pomppa dog clothing:
- Avoid unnecessary washing. Besides water consumption, frequent washing causes wear on the fabric and its coating. If there are no visible stains or dirt, try airing the product in a well-ventilated area or try placing it in the freezer to eliminate any odors.
- If necessary, wash the garment in the washing machine on a delicate cycle at 30°C.
- Do not use aggressive detergents, stain removers, bleaches, or fabric softeners.
- After washing, hang the garment to dry.
- Do not tumble dry, iron, or dry clean.
- The outer layer is coated with a hydrophobic finish, which degrades after multiple washes. You can restore it using impregnation products commonly available in outdoor clothing stores.
