Using the handle, you can also assist an awkward or heavy pet in getting in and out of the vehicle, and if needed, keep them close to your leg. An even closer grip is provided by the handle on the back. When going for a walk or jogging, simply attach a standard leash. If your dog tends to pull on the leash, this harness model will help you teach them better manners during walks. The Martingale attachment on the chest gives the handler greater control over the pet - when the dog pulls hard, a small section of the front strap tightens, applying gradual pressure to the animal's shoulders. Don't worry about the strap constricting your pet's neck, as with a standard collar. The no-pull harness does not cause choking. When the leash is attached to the front of the harness, you can gently guide the dog, indicating which direction they should go.
