PetSafe Healthy Pet Simply Feed is an automatic pet feeder for dogs and cats that ensures your pet has access to food even when you're away from home. It prevents your pet from consuming their portion too quickly and overeating, which could happen if a large amount of food is left in a traditional bowl. Additionally, if your dog or cat struggles with excess weight, this device will help you manage your pet's diet. The dry food dispenser from PetSafe automatically serves a reasonable portion of food at the times you choose.
The feeder holds up to 5.7L of dry food or treats for dogs and cats. With the digital timer, you can schedule meals at selected times throughout the day and night. The electronic timer allows you to program up to 12 meals a day, specifying portion sizes ranging from 30-948ml, with the selected settings displayed on a clear LCD screen. Once you input your preferences, food will be automatically dispensed into the bowl at the same time every day, meaning you can schedule meals for the entire week.
There are default feeding schedules included in the device: the dog mode serves 473ml twice a day; the cat mode dispenses 59ml twice a day. Additional programs allow you to pause food dispensing until further notice, immediately serve a meal, and dispense food slowly - this feature is particularly useful if your pet tends to eat too quickly.
The PetSafe Healthy Pet Simply Feed automatic dry food dispenser is stable on the ground, and its design prevents curious paws from getting inside. The materials used for the dispenser do not alter the taste or smell of the food. The perfectly smooth finish of the casing ensures easy cleaning with a damp, soft cloth, while the inner food bowl can be removed and washed in the dishwasher. A spacious bowl with a handle that keeps it in place is included with the dispenser. The feeder is powered by D LR20 alkaline batteries.
