Device activation: To turn on the deterrent, press and release the power button. The LED light will turn green. The spray deterrent will undergo a 30-second warming process during which the LED will blink green (or red if the batteries are low) 3 times every 5 seconds, indicating the current battery status. While the device is operating, the LED will blink once every 30 seconds.
