PetSafe Viva Pet Fountain is a fountain for cats and small dogs that helps you ensure your pet stays properly hydrated. It provides your pet with access to fresh, filtered water 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The freely flowing stream of fresh water encourages cats and dogs to drink more, helping to prevent urinary tract infections and kidney diseases. Continuous circulation adds more oxygen to the water and inhibits bacterial growth. The Viva Pet Fountain holds from 1.8 liters (size M) to 4.1 liters (size L) of water and is made from safe, food-grade materials that are BPA-free. It emits a quiet, gently bubbling stream that spreads across the entire surface of the upper tray. The elongated window on the front wall allows you to conveniently monitor the water level in the fountain, so you can refill it at the right time. Additionally, the LED backlight makes it easier to check the water level from a distance and at night - when the water level is sufficient, the light is blue; when the water level drops to a minimum, the water pump will shut off, and the LED will turn red.
The fountain is equipped with a dual filtration system. The foam filter captures any contaminants, such as pet hair, while the ion-exchange carbon filter removes unpleasant tastes and odors from the water and softens it. This ensures the water is healthier and does not leave mineral deposits on the pump. Compared to a traditional bowl, where most contaminants and pet saliva tend to accumulate at the bottom, the fountain does not require frequent washing. When it's time to clean, the fountain can be easily and quickly disassembled, and all parts except for the pump and power cord can be washed in the dishwasher. The stable design of the Viva fountain prevents tipping and movement of the bowl during eager drinking. The fountain is powered by electricity from a laptop or power bank via a USB connection, and with an adapter and interchangeable plugs, you can connect it to the nearest home electrical outlet. The set includes 4 types of plugs: European, British, American, and Australian. This allows you to use the fountain during long trips or when moving to another country.

To maintain the fountain's performance for as long as possible, it is important to regularly clean the water pump and replace the filters.
