Tested and appreciated by doctors. The Tick Twister consists of a handle and two prongs that slide between the skin and the tick (as close to the skin as possible). Dimensions: 76 x 47 x 10 mm. The Tick Twister can be used to remove ticks from the body of: humans (adults, children) and animals (dogs, cats, horses, etc.). Removing a tick using the TICK TWISTER: 1. Choose the hook based on the size of the tick. 2. Slide it in from the side of the tick. 3. Gently lift the hook and TWIST until the tick comes out (1 – 3 turns). 4. The operation takes just a few seconds and only requires the use of a disinfectant after removing the tick. When removing a tick, DO NOT: pull it out, tug (risk of leaving parts of the tick in the skin, which can cause pain, inflammation, or even infections), squeeze (risk of injecting the spider's saliva or intestinal contents along with pathogens into the victim's body), smother with fat, alcohol, ether, etc., or burn (risk as above).
