Vetfood Taurine for cats and dogs. Organic dietary supplement, a compound from the amino acid group. It is an essential addition to the daily diet of adult dogs and cats. It participates in many processes, but its most important function is to support the heart muscle in its proper functioning, the proper development of the central nervous system, and the retina of the eye. The appropriate level of taurine in food is crucial for the proper reproductive functions in female cats and the growth and development of kittens. Taurine is essential not only for cats but also for certain dog breeds suspected of having cardiomyopathy (heart defect) due to taurine deficiency (mainly Cocker Spaniel, Golden Retriever, Labrador, Doberman). It is also very important in dog reproduction, and its deficiency can be found in bitches of mainly large breeds (e.g., Saint Bernard, English Setter, Newfoundland). Additionally, taurine is a very strong antioxidant, protecting cells from damage caused by heavy metals (e.g., cadmium, copper, lead) and aiding in the absorption of all fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, and K).

Administration and dosage:
It is recommended to add the following amounts of the product to the animal's meal:
- Cats and dogs: for every 1kg of meat given to the animal, 4 level scoops.
Daily recommended amounts during meals, depending on the animal's body weight:
- Cats: for every 2.5kg - ½ level scoop,
- Dogs: for every 10kg - 1 level scoop.
One level scoop is approximately 450mg of the product. The package includes a scoop.
Before administration, dissolve in a small amount of lukewarm water.
