Vetfood No Stress Gel is an edible gel for dogs and cats that reduces stress, with a pleasant taste. It alleviates anxiety in animals, for example, caused by visits to the veterinarian, travel, fireworks, or storms. The product provides animals with natural ingredients, such as L-tryptophan - an essential amino acid necessary for serotonin synthesis (responsible for regulating sleep, well-being, and mood). Studies have shown that administering L-tryptophan positively affects the mental and physical calmness of pets without disrupting other vital functions. Supplementing the animal's diet with this compound increases the release of the happiness hormone - serotonin, which positively influences their behavior, alleviating symptoms related to anxiety reactions. Additionally, the gel is enriched with two ingredients: passionflower - this plant is a calming agent used to combat insomnia, sleep disorders, and difficulties falling asleep, alleviating states of anxiety and fear, and lemon balm leaves - which have a wide calming effect, used for anxiety, nervous agitation, stress, and irritability.
Indications for No Stress Gel: for dogs and cats suffering from sleep disorders before and during stressful situations (veterinary visits, grooming, storms, fireworks) during travel for dogs and cats with behavioral problems.
Usage: It is recommended to administer the following amounts of the product on the tongue or mixed with the animal's meal. The product should be given 40 minutes before a potentially stressful situation. If necessary, another dose can be given after 3 hours.
- Animals < 5kg - 2ml
- Animals 5-15kg - 3-6ml
- Animals 15-40kg - 6-10ml
