The jacket perfectly protects the animal from low temperatures, wind, and moisture. Properly tailored and well-fitted, it does not restrict the dog's movements and provides maximum comfort. It is made from a soft fabric that gently wraps around the dog's body. A thick layer of fiber filling, which mimics the feel of down and creates small, heat-retaining air pockets, provides protection against the cold. The Hurtta Extreme Warmer III Eco winter jacket is easy to put on and take off, and loops around the hind legs prevent twisting and slipping. A special flap protects the dog's belly, while the high collar and hood protect the neck, head, and ears. The adjustable waistband and buckle are made from durable metal. Adjustments around the collar and back length allow for size customization to fit the dog's body structure. Reflective piping and prints made with 3M technology ensure visibility in difficult weather conditions. An opening in the back allows for harness placement underneath and leash attachment. Special snaps allow the jacket flaps at the back to be secured, preventing the garment from dragging on the ground for dogs with short legs. An internal loop in the collar allows the jacket to be hung on a hook.
A unique feature of the Extreme Warmer jacket is the use of modern technology in the construction of the lining. It is covered with a special print made from aluminum foil, functioning like a thermal blanket for athletes. The purpose of such a lining is to maintain the dog's body temperature at the correct level and protect against hypothermia. Thanks to its warming properties for the dog's muscles, the jacket can be successfully worn by sporting dogs to prepare their bodies for exertion, as well as afterwards to ensure comfortable rest. It is also a good solution for particularly cold-sensitive dogs, senior dogs, dogs with short hair without an undercoat, or hairless breeds.
The jacket is made from high-quality recycled fabric, specially developed for outdoor clothing production. The Hurtta Extreme Warmer III Eco jacket is crafted with attention to detail: made from soft and pleasant-to-touch waterproof fabric (coated with Fluorocarbon-free-Finish® ECO laminate) with a lining that maintains body temperature, reflective piping and prints from 3M ensure visibility, loops for hind legs, high collar with an inner tricot collar for ears and head, adjustable collar circumference and back length, belly flap secured with a metal hook, opening for harness and leash (from size 30), integrated harness (size 25), internal loop in the collar for hanging the jacket, tear resistance: 15N, waterproofness: above 10,000mm water column, coverage of the dog: approx. 80%, filling with fiber balls of thickness 120–140g/m2, light intensity of reflective elements 400-450 cd/m2, temperature: from -5 to -30°C, quality and durability for years, color: blue.
Choosing the right size: When selecting the appropriate size for your dog, measure the chest circumference and neck circumference. If the measurements fall at the upper limit of a size or are between sizes, we suggest purchasing the larger size.
